This was original designed to be used in the Blue Samui website and would have featuring images fading in and out, showing off the house and surrounding area. In the end it wasn't used but I have found other uses for it, such as at the top of this portfolio.

The images are all being loaded through XML. The slider is designed so that only the first two images need to be loaded into memory before it starts the slideshow. This is to ensure that if many images are to a part of the slideshow, it doesn't take forever to load. The slideshow will then pause on the second image and wait until the third is loaded before continuing and so on and forth.

Despite it not being used in the original project, I am quite happy with what I have created, not only for its smartly coded design, but also because it is an all around useful piece of code to have on hand. As such I am developing it further in order to add more features and give it a greater range of uses.
